Many of us find ourselves in seasons where God calls us to transition. To leave behind the familiar and step into something new. This process, talked about in Session 5: Transition into a Father Church, is not just about external change but about internal transformation.

When we look at the story of Israel in the wilderness, we see people with a promise from God but also with a problem inside of them. God told them about a land overflowing with milk and honey, a land He Himself would care for. Yet when they stood at the edge of it, they hesitated. Why? Because the giants in the land were not the real issue. The giants inside of them were.
They said, “We are like grasshoppers in our own sight.” That mentality kept them out and the same thing can keep us from entering into everything God has for us.
Take Off the Old Identity
Family, if we are going to move forward, we must take off the old identity. We can no longer carry the labels of the past: not enough, abandoned, rejected, always failing. These labels create fear, insecurity, and self-doubt.
As long as you keep identifying with what hurt you, with what went wrong, with what people did to you, you will stay stuck. The Holy Spirit is calling us to dismantle these false identities, to stop agreeing with the lies, and to step boldly into the truth of who we are in Christ.
Clarity Brings Acceleration
Moses sent spies to define the land before Israel entered it. Why? Because clarity brings acceleration. When you can see the vision clearly, faith rises. Confusion keeps you circling in the wilderness, but clarity gives you the courage to move forward.
I believe God wants to give you clear direction for your life, your family, your business, and your ministry. Pray for clarity. Seek it. Because when you know where you are going, you will step into it with confidence.
Use What God Has Given You
One of the principles needed transition through this journey is simple: use what you have.
Joseph was taken from prison to the palace because he used and refined the gift God gave him. Many times, we focus on what we lack instead of the talents, skills, and abilities already in our hands.
Start with what God gave you. Refine it. Grow in it. Step out in faith. Excellence comes when we stop hiding our abilities and start using them for His glory.
Moving Forward in Faith
Transitioning into a Fathering Church, or becoming a Fathering People means growing up spiritually. It means refusing to be defined by fear, insecurity, or the past. It means getting clarity from God and courageously using what He has given us.
This is how we step into the promises of God:
We dismantle the old identity.
We gain clarity for the next season.
We use the gifts and abilities God has already placed in us.
Family, let’s break free from the things that hold us back so we can see how God advances us into His purposes.
